The collection is inspired by the grooved glass designed by Angiolo Mazzoni and Carlo Scarpa in the 1930s,which was used to illuminate large surfaces in public and representative spaces. An example is the Florence railway station ‘Santa Maria Novella’. The unique design of the glass has been reinterpreted to create a collection of lamps that pay homage to the Italian design tradition. The integrated LED lighting system takes advantage of the glass texture to make the light more homogeneous and diffused. The main materials used are stainless steel and handmade Murano cast glass elements, which give a unique and sophisticated design to the product. The structure is essential and designed to contain all the technical components inside. The bases of the floor lamps are made of either Bardiglio Magnifico Carrara marble or concrete. The 'Sistema' collection is the result of the combination of artisanal savoir-faire and aesthetic and functional research, giving life to a rational and refined product.
